What Trouble Can He Get Into Now?

We got Everett a new swing, but Cael thinks it is his very own t.v. chair. He is so cute with it, that it is hard to be upset at him. This isn't the really reason for this post.

We had to put an alarm on the sliding back door because he learned how to unlock and open the door. In the one day before we put the alarm up, he was outside unnoticed three times. The third time he was standing next to the pool throwing things in it, a shovel and two 1-gallon buckets of paint. He still gets outside, but the alarm goes off within 5 seconds and than I get to chase him outside.

And the sad story is of a lost engagement ring. On Sat. I had a soccer game. I took my jewelery off and left it on the bathroom counter far enough back that he couldn't reach it......or so I thought. When I got home from the game Adam said how he had to go fishing in the toilet. Contact solution, Abeeva, dental floss, a penny, my diamond earrings, and my necklace. I was shocked and said so you had to fish out all my jewelery; earrings, necklace, and rings? Adam gets a weird look on his face, RINGS?!? So, I run into the bathroom and stick my hand in the toilet, hoping to feel a ring still hanging out at the bottom. NOPE! Adam comes in and tells me that the toilet has already been flushed still he pulled everything out. Oh my gosh. I'm in shock. These are Bonnie's moms rings. I started to cry and started looking everywhere else in the bathroom hoping that they didn't end up in the sewer. I was so glad to see that Cael atleast dropped one of my rings on the floor behind the toilet. So another 20 minutes of looking and no sign of the engagement ring. It is hanging out with the dead fishes that get flushed. So, now we have to keep our bathroom locked at all times because we don't want anything else to join my ring in the sewer.

What an exciting life you lead... I'm so sorry about the ring. Are you going to put a taller lock on that back door? Is Cael a good swinner now? What a cute boy, and what a lot of mischief he gets into. Love you Turner family!
