Cael had tubes put in this morning. He was a champ like always. It is amazing how quickly they do it. The surgery lasted 5 minutes. He was asleep for another 20 minutes. He didn't even need an IV for this surgery. Than we got to chill out in recovery while the nurses monitored him. All they did was give him some Tylenol and take his temperature, he was also given some apple juice. He is so independent that he only cuddled with me for 5 minutes, than he wanted to be left alone. He sat in one chair, drinking his juice while I sat in the chair next to him. All the other kids in recovery were crying for their parents to hold them. Not my little man. I was surprised though because every other time he has had surgery, he would cuddle with me for quite awhile. I guess I'll have to get used to the idea that he isn't going to want to cuddle with me forever.
I hope everything is going good with everyone else.
P.S. Cael has his first speech therapy tomorrow. Yay. I hope that it goes good.

Gosh, I wish I had known he was going in today. He is just so amazing, isn't he. If he let's you cuddle him this evening, just tell him his Nana loves and misses him.
I have been thinking about him all day. I am so glad that he was such a champ. Was he still putting his fingers in his ears? He is the bomb.com -- Oh and Beki make sure that you ask lots of questions tomorrow at his speech thing ...tell them about your concerns and ask them what you can do to help ...AND NEVER FEEL LIKE THEY ARE JUDGING YOU AS A MOTHER! You are a VERY GOOD mommy! Please talk to them and say anything you want to know! Good luck!
What a trooper. I am so proud of you Cael :) Beki, don't let it bother you too much about the cuddling, he'll still do it, probably more when the new baby is here. Just wait until they're 10, they don't cuddle at all :(
