So Mammoth was awesome. Everything ended up working out good, we kind of worried about people dropping out or flaking out with the condo but we got enough money to pay for it without us having to pick up extra. The snow wasn't amazing but there wasn't really much to complain about. It would have been nice if we could have planned it about 10 days later because that next weekend Mammoth got 10 feet of snow in 4 days. That would have been awesome. But the last two days were beautiful. Five of us even decided to man up and do two runs down the slopes in our speedos. It wasn't too bad for me, partly because I didn't wrecked and I stayed dry. Drake on the other hand did wreck and had a gnarly ice burn on his butt cheek to prove it.
We even had all of our food paid for, but its not like we didn't have to work for it. We cooked all the meals and shopped for all of it. We even had a BYOB night (and just to clarify that was Buy Your Own BEEF.)
This was our going away present. As we drove left Mammoth, we were given this beautiful sky to leave us with a lasting impression of how much we really do love Mammoth. Mammoth Mountain Winter trip 2007/2008, two thumbs up.
