Cael was running feeling under the weather yesterday. He was hot all day long. He took atleast three baths yesterday and he was just very sluggish and cuddly. Last night I put these potatoes in his socks to help reduce his fever and this are how they looked this morning. Gross fever over cooked those potatoes, almost burned them. I'm glad to know this old wives tale though, it has come in handy several times. He was also taking Tylenol, but it takes too long to help cool him down.
Happy New Year. I wish that we were all still together.

so now I get to see them... Potatoes turn black given time anyway, but so I still don't know how 'cooked' they are. Glad Cael is feeling better today! Miss that screamasaurus! Love ya.
Wow! Thats crazy. Beki, you might want to try Motrin. It is supposed to work a little faster than Tylenol. Dr. Rafiq also taught me that you should switch between the two so that he doesn't become immune to either one. Love ya, glad to hear Cael is feeling better.
I also agree with what Leisa said. Motrin has always worked so much better with my kids. I hope he feels better soon. I have also never heard of the potato thing what is that all about?
A slice of raw potato in your socks can help reduce a fever. Grandma Linda did it for me once while we were camping. Thanks I'll try the Motrin.
