Here are pictures from Cael's first swim lessons. He did really well once we got in the water, but he threw a tantrum while the instructors gave a run down of the class. Everyone was staring at us because he punched himself in the mouth and made himself bleed. He just wanted to get in the water so bad. I can't be mad because I am glad that he enjoys the water, but it frustrates me that he freaks when he doesn't get it his way. I don't know that this is the best class for Cael because it is getting kids accustomed to the water, which Cael already is. But we'll keep doing it because he LOVES the water. My favorite picture of Cael is the one that looks like he is dunking the watering can. He cracks me up.

The way this boy embraces life so wholeheartedly is so endearing. He is going to be a fish someday, I know it! This makes me so happy to see him in swim lessons, both Cael and Gracie learning to swim this summer. Cool!
